Issue #5 - Continuing The Cut - Also GOOD GOD is EVERYONE using Octane Render?!
Back tracking a bit since I didn't complete the story for Issue #1 - Make The Cut. I left it off because I lost all the files and was hoping I would be able to recover them. I didn't so...hey...I'm back again.
Also, I may have to rebuild most of my files and join the "Plastic doll Octane Render" art crowd that seems to have taken over the 3D erotic market since I've been gone. Apparently, your art is "bad" if you don't conform to the plastic doll Lara Croft clone market. No offense to those that have Lara Croft clones as I used to love her but now I hate seeing any 3D model with a brunette ponytail.
All of it looks the same to me. No one has any style and I can't tell who the fuck is making what. You can tell easily because ANYONE can imitate Octane Render art just by having Octane Render.
Kind of why I always went comicbook style for PRISM.
I probably won't get Octane Render though, I can use that money to upgrade my system. Daz Studio is going to be featuring iRay soon so pretty much Octane Render will be a pointless waste of money if you use Daz Studio. I don't use Daz Studio much but I am learning it because Poser won't support Genesis properly so...fuck that.
Only thing that keeps me from using it more often is the fact that everything in Poser doesn't translate to Daz Studio which means I have to start over...for the 7th time.

I don't like to rag on what other artist do but you know sometimes I wonder around and see users saying things like "THIS IS REAL 3D ART"...just because it's rendered in Octane Render.
